Pertemuan Persiapan Monitoring dan Evaluation pada Lokus Proyek DESMA Center

Preparation for Monitoring and Evaluation Visitation of the SGP Program with the ASEAN Center for Biodiversity (ACB) from the Manila office, Philippines; Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK), Balai Besar Gunung Leuser National Park (BBTNGL) at the DESMA Center project locus in the Batu Katak Ecotourism Area, Gunung Leuser National Park (TNGL), Langkat Regency, North Sumatra was held on October 7, 2022.
This Monitoring and Evaluation preparation activity is to identify the achievements of the project carried out by the DESMA Center at the locus in the Batu Katak Ecotourism Area by identifying the achievements of the SGP Indonesia program, as well as knowing the challenges, lessons learned and best practices during program implementation. This activity was carried out in preparation for the monitoring and evaluation meeting which will be held on October 18, 2022 at the DESMA Center assisted tourism locus.
DESMA Center, represented by Co-Founder & Deputy Director Dicky Mardyan from DESMA Center Jakarta office, accompanied by the entire team of DESMA Center Field Office Medan received and provided necessary information to the preparatory team during the visit. On that occasion, DESMA Center explained the achievements of the project activities as well as best practices and lessons learned during the project implementation.
Also present with the DESMA Center team were all beneficiaries of the project, namely the Batu Katak Tourism Institute team, the Batu Katak Nature Lovers Community Group, the Erih Ersada Women's Group, the Repala Micro Business Women's Group and village officials. During the event, the beneficiary groups also displayed their local products and services.
