Vocational High Schools (SMK) have the main goal of preparing graduates who are ready to work in industry. Not only preparing soft skills and hard skills according to the field, but schools also need to direct students to prepare for applying for jobs.
Responding to this urgency, one of the DESMA Center teams filled in material for making application letters and curriculum vitae at SMKS Efata-Omba Rade on February 7 2024. This was attended by 30 students from classes X and XII.
The application letter material is filled with providing students with an understanding of how to compose a good job application letter, converting documents and sending files via email. In the curriculum vitae material, participants were introduced to the Canva application to make it easier to compile a resume.
Through knowledge sharing, the preparation of application letters and curriculum vitae is expected to help Tourism Vocational School students to better prepare themselves for applying for jobs.
