Hygiene and Sanitation Program for Post-Covid19 Recovery in Tourist Attractions

Project Timeline: August 2020 – July 2023  

The project is carried out as post Covid-19 recovery effort by conducting campaign on the needs of basic hygiene and sanitation at the selected tourism attractions in Indonesia. The project will facilitate basic infrastructure and facility establishment to support responsible tourism destinations; and at the same time to increase awareness on the health protocols and safety issues as efforts toward community resilience during post Covid-19 recovery. The project will engage local health officials (Dinas Kesehatan), tourism officials (Dinas Pariwisata), and tourism community group (Pokdarwis). As part of PT Intan Sarana Teknik sustainability programme, together with DESMA Center aims to support the implementation of Cleanliness, Health and Safety (CHSE) protocols at tourism attractions in Indonesia.
