After the Covid-19 pandemic, the tourism industry and creative economy are facing unprecedented challenges and opportunities. In this situation, the tourism sector and the creative economy have great potential to become a driving force for recovery and sustainable development.
The magnitude of tourism opportunities in Indonesia, the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy of the Republic of Indonesia initiated International Tourism Investment Forum (ITIF) 2024. This activity is present as a strategic platform for tourism industry stakeholders including investors, government, financial institutions, banks, development agencies and other private sectors to collaborate to overcome global challenges and open new opportunities that contribute to the sustainable tourism sector and creative economy in Indonesia. By theme Elevating Tourism Investments for Sustainable Growth, this investment forum promotes sustainable tourism development and green investment to support sustainable growth in the tourism sector and creative economy globally, regionally and nationally.
As knowledge partner Directorate of Investment Management, Deputy for Industry and Investment, Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy of Indonesia, DESMA Center is part of the joint work secretariat to support the successful implementation of ITIF 2024. Plays a role in formulating the conceptualization and developing substantive aspects of the forum starting from the forum concept, themes, sub-themes to preparation of speakers, panelists and moderators. Helping to develop frameworks and frameworks of thinking as well as directing strategic topics and issues discussed in each speaker and roundtable session.
