Promoting Gunung Leuser National Park as a Tourism Destination to Support Sustainable Ecotourism

 Type of work: Development of National Park's Ecotourism Promotion Materials 

Development of promotion materials to promote ecotourism of Gunung Leuser National Park covering the area of Sumatera Utara and Aceh by conducted assessment on relevant tourism stakeholders, attractions to be promoted and visualize storytelling regarding the park. The map is also as a tool to increase awareness on environmental and cultural concerns for visitors to be more responsible at the destination of national park they visit. This encouragement is visualized through the code of conduct on visiting certain sites, sensitive wildlife watching activities and also interaction with local community. The promotion materials edvelopped are also to promote local community business and traditional enterprises who needs to be linked to the existing and potential market.
