Policy Brief – Ecotourism Development Integration in the Tropical Rainforest Heritage of Sumatra

Under the collaboration of the Ministry of Environment and Rural and Marine Affairs, Government of Spain and UNESCO Office Jakarta developed the project of “Strengthening the Tropical Rainforest Heritage of Sumatra through Ecotourism” to support ecotourism development integration planning in the TRHS area.

To reinforce awareness of all stakeholders and develop better understanding regarding challenges towards in Danger status in the TRHS, one of activities carried out is to develop policy brief of the ecotourism in the context of strengthening the UNESCO Tropical Rainforest Heritage of Sumatra through Ecotourism-Development policy.
