Tourism TVET Webinar: Independent Curriculum (Prototype) of Tourism Cluster Vocational School

The Indonesian government launched a revitalization program for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) following Presidential Instruction No. 9/2016 concerning Improving the Quality and Competitiveness of Indonesian Human Resources. The target of the Indonesian government's Vocational Revitalization program is to improve the employability and competitiveness of the Indonesian workforce both nationally and internationally.

In this context, with the financial support of the William & Lily Foundation (WLF) in collaboration with the DESMA Center as an implementing partner, the program "Strengthening the Tourism Vocational School in Sumba Barat Daya" from August 2020 to July 2022. During the implementation of the program, the Covid-19 pandemic 19 has influenced various aspects of life, including the world of education. Recovery of learning during the pandemic is important to reduce the impact of learning loss on students. The prototype curriculum is one option that can be chosen by educational units in the context of learning recovery due to the pandemic.

What is the independent curriculum (prototype) like and how is it implemented in the Tourism Vocational School cluster?
